5 yrs ago I stood in front of the mirror not liking what I saw :-(
All i could see staring back at me was an over weight middle aged woman that had lost her bite for life

Direction
All I needed was a little direction something to light the fire in side and help me get on the road to being healthy.
I wasn't always this was in my late 20's early 30's I was heavily in to karate and loved going out to competitions but after a horrid accident that not only left my ankle weak it knocked my confidence and all that I had worked for seemed to slip away :-(
Self pity is a horrid place to live in where everyday looks as bland as the last and your only friend seems to be food.
I needed to do something and with the help of a friend that's exactly what I did!
Change
Walking was my first step only little walks to start you see in the beginning i was carrying 107kg (17 stone) of weight!! so even a little walk of 1km seemed like miles.
But I kept on going the weeks feel away and soon we were up to 10km! and the weight was slipping away too!
After 4 months I was below 90kg (14 stone) and was determined to keep going and with a few small changes in my eating habits too I started to feel better and look better. I felt more confident and could run round with the kids which I hadn't done in a long long time.
Adventure Time!
After a while the walks weren't enough so that is when I embarked on my journey of adventures starting with my walking group them on further to distance walking and horse riding,
But I'm not going to tell you about all that now you'll have to read my next installment to see what I did next!!!
Until Them
Keeping It Real!
