I brought the Nike Fuelband because I wanted to keep track of my progress and in the beginning it worked ok.
The only thing I didn't like was it didn't tell you how many km you had done just how much Nike fuel you had burned. Which is all very well and good but when you actually want to know you distances it can be a bit frustrating!
After only 12 months my fuel band button broke ;-( so had to folk out another £79 for a new one this one was nice and shiny with color on instead of just being black again though I couldn't keep track of my distances and I started to notice you could only reach the Nike Fuel target if you kept up the exercise for so many hours per day!
Which to be honest wasn't achievable so I started to get a bit down about it because I wasn't hitting my targets.
I know I know it's not always about targets! But i'm the type of gal who likes to keep pushing and if you can never reach the top not just once even I can get put off!
Any way
The new fuelband started going funny because I spend a lot of my time in Egypt I found the rubber on the band was starting to get sticky! not idea when your sweating a lot!
So I have had to move on It was a great motivator in the beginning and as step counters go it was ok though not that accurate
Out of 10 i'd give it a 6 as it was functional just best suited for people that want a little encouragement.
